BriskReach uses Unipile as the secure connector for LinkedIn accounts. Most workspaces connect through hosted login. Some beta workspaces can also use the private Chrome extension option, which reads the LinkedIn profile currently signed into Chrome and sends the minimum browser session payload to BriskReach. You do not share your LinkedIn password with BriskReach directly.

Steps to connect

1

Open Accounts

Go to Accounts in the left sidebar.
2

Click Add account

Click Add account. Choose Hosted login unless your workspace has the private Chrome extension beta enabled.
3

Authenticate

For hosted login, continue through the secure LinkedIn connection page. If your workspace uses the Chrome extension beta, keep LinkedIn open in the same Chrome profile and confirm that Chrome is signed into the LinkedIn profile you want to connect.
4

Confirm the connection

Once authentication is complete, you are returned to the Accounts page. Your account status changes to Active.

Account status meanings

StatusWhat it means
ActiveReady to send, subject to safety limits and campaign state
PendingAuthentication is in progress. This usually resolves within a few minutes.
Needs reconnectSending is paused until the same LinkedIn profile is reconnected.
ErrorSomething went wrong during authentication. Try disconnecting and reconnecting. If the problem persists, contact support.
Trial accounts can connect one LinkedIn account. Upgrade to a paid plan to connect more.

InMail readiness

Sales Navigator InMail and Open Profile InMail campaigns need an active LinkedIn account that has passed an InMail readiness check. On a paid workspace, open Accounts and choose Check InMail for the account you want to use. BriskReach checks:
  • Sales Navigator InMail balance for credit-backed InMail campaigns
  • Open Profile InMail readiness for scan-backed Open Profile campaigns
Open Profile InMail does not spend Sales Navigator InMail credits. It has separate sender caps of 30 per day and 800 rolling 30 days. Trial workspaces cannot create InMail campaigns.

Reconnecting an account

If LinkedIn or Unipile asks you to reconnect, reconnect the same LinkedIn profile again from Accounts. BriskReach matches reconnects by the real LinkedIn profile where possible, keeps campaign and inbox history, and hides technical duplicate archive rows from the Removed accounts section. When using the Chrome extension beta, the reconnect uses whichever LinkedIn profile is currently signed into Chrome. Open LinkedIn in Chrome first and confirm the visible profile matches the BriskReach account you are reconnecting.
