# Replying to messages

> How to send a manual reply to a lead from the BriskReach inbox

You can reply to any lead directly from the inbox. Replies are sent through the LinkedIn account the conversation belongs to.

  <Step title="Open the inbox">
    Click **Inbox** in the left sidebar. You will see a list of all conversations across your connected LinkedIn accounts.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select a conversation">
    Click the conversation you want to reply to. The full message thread opens on the right.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type your reply">
    Click the composer at the bottom of the thread and type your message.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send">
    Click **Send**. The message is delivered through your LinkedIn account immediately.

<Note>
  Replying from the inbox does not resume automated campaign messages for that lead. Once a lead replies, BriskReach stops sending automated messages to them — this is by design. Your manual reply continues the conversation.
